The morning featured a brief sprinkle, but the storm moved by and spared us a downpour on Day 1 of the Handicap Championship at Jax Beach. Thank you to everyone who helped organize this event! The Jax Beach team and Jennifer Eckensberger did an outstanding job of hosting us. Thanks to our Golf Genius Team for handling software setup and to Adrienne Whitman and Jody Clark for their efforts in managing the first Major of the year!
Three of the matches went to 19 holes Those who lost their match today will leave the competition and can participate as NITs. Congratulations to all the match play winners and our NIT winners. Please visit our website to view all of today’s results.
Next week we are at Eagle Harbor, and we’ll finish this competition and shoot-out at South Hampton. Thank you to all the Players who were able to commit to three weeks of tournament play. Players who forfeit or default or are otherwise unable to play ANY of the 3 matches within their flights are automatically disqualified from the tournament.
Reminder: Golf Genius will post scores for all Competitors including Match Play and NIT stroke play. A score must be recorded on each hole in the Golf Genius App and on the Official Scorecard. Be sure to sign and attest your Official Scorecard.
