Hi ladies,
Thank you to our Club Rep, Susan Mackert who did a great job of getting us organized today and to Pattie Mudd-Jenkins for helping Susan get us checked in this morning. There were some last minute cancellations and some rearranging to be done but Susan handled it like a Pro. Thanks too to our playday team of Dot Peck and Deb Eady for verifying all the scorecards and handling the scoring. When you see Shari Zeimetz, Chris Hunt, Helen Short and Sue Riegler, thank them for their dedicated efforts on google sheets and the website. What would we do without them?
You will find today’s results on our website. Congratulations to all of our winners.
COVID – Remember, health and safety of our members is of utmost importance. If you have COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, please cancel and follow CDC guidelines.
Significant Achievements: If you or a JW friend has had a significant golf achievement that you would like to share with the organization, please contact me. We would like to celebrate you.
Following are a few reminders of our future events:
o Next week we have the 1st round of our Handicap Tournament at the King and Bear – 9:00 shotgun. In tournament players do not need to sign up each week. If you would like to play as a NIT you will need to sign up and if you lose your second match and want to play the last week as a NIT, you will need to sign up.
o February 2 – King and Bear – 9:00 shotgun (not 8:30 as show in your directory)
o February 9 – Jacksonville Golf and Country Club
o February 16 – South Hampton (Final Round and Shootout)
PLEASE NOTE: If you cannot play all 3 weeks of match play and the shootout, do not sign up for the handicap tournament. Instead, we welcome you to play as a NIT (not in tournament). If we have 9 or more NITs, you will compete in a Low Gross/Low Net tournament for points.
o February 23 – Windy Harbor – Sign ups are open for this “make your own foursome” Lone Ranger event. Due to the time required to process security checks, the deadline to sign up for this tournament is February 8.
Make it a Great Day!!

President, JWGA
