Hi Ladies,
What a beautiful day at Jax Beach for the qualifying round of our JWGA match play Championship. Congratulations to our medalist, Susie Fonde, who shot a low gross round of 75.
Many thanks to our club rep, Jennifer Eckensburger and her helper Sach Price for her help with check-in. Deb Eady, our Major’s Chair, Dot Peck and Cynthia Hastings always do a great job with scoring. We appreciate the help of the Jax Beach staff throughout the day.
Upcoming Events:
Our Championship match play rounds will take place over the next 3 weeks as follows:
o April 6 – Championship – Round 1 Match Play – Eagle Harbor
o April 13 – Championship – Round 2 Match Play – Bent Creek
o April 20 – Championship Final – Eagle Landing
If you lose your first match at Eagle Harbor, you will go into the consolation flight at Bent Creek. Those not able to compete in the championship are encouraged to play in the NIT division. If we have 9 or more NITs, you will compete in a low gross/low net event or points.
o April 28 (Thursday) – The Mixed Couples event at Queen’s Harbour is now open for signup. This tournament is a Modified Pinehurst with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun followed by dinner and awards. Grab a partner and join in the fun!
REMINDER: To avoid possible disqualification, please read the cart sheet and listen to the announcements.
