What an absolutely beautiful day at Amelia National. The course was in fantastic shape, and our format was great fun with blind draw pairings. Some of you may have now found some new partners based on the results! Also congratulations to Mary Poole for her low putts win -- just 30. I don't know about you all, but in my foursome once on the greens, my friend, Chris Moyer, said there sure is a lot of begging going on -- seems we were pleading "stop" a lot! Congratulations to our our flight winners. And big thanks to Anna Jower for hostintg us at Amelia National --- the bagels were a welcomed touch!
Next week - on to Deerwood and the first round of the Sarah Shelly where we start with a better ball format. Given that our membership voted overwhelmingly (75 out of 106 votes cast or 71%) to have rounds two and three of the Sarah Shelly arranged by standings, the Board has voted to institute that change.
Birdies and fast play to all!
