Handicap Tournament Update!
The final round of the Handicap Tournament is set! Finalists are scheduled to play their matches at NAS Jax on Oct 26. If you are unable to do so, you and your opponent may play your match between Oct 19 and Oct 26 at a mutually agreed upon club. Be sure to notify Andi Phillips of your plans and the results. Keep in mind that you are still signed up to play at NAS Jax so be sure to cancel if you don't plan to be there.
Those who did not make the final round may compete in the Burnside tournament at NAS Jax. If you cannot play at NAS Jax, be sure to cancel by Friday, October 21 as that is when the pairings are being submitted to NAS Jax.
DONATE, DONATE, DONATE! Opening Day started our charity fund raising for the 2016 season by focusing on the Nassau County Council on Aging. Donations, which will benefit over 2000 seniors in Nassau County, are being accepted through the Christmas luncheon. Please drop off your check in the special box at the Boards table or see Jane Casper, especially if cash! For more information on this and our other philanthropic efforts, click here!
Please be sure to turn in your scorecards. You and a marker in your foursome must agree and they must be ADDED and SIGNED! You will be DISQUALIFIED if your card is not turned in immediately following the round!
