Congratulations to all who competed at the Ocean Links. I understand the course played very hard, but as competitive tournament players, be proud of playing your hardest and doing your best to defeat it. Playing easy courses every week is not expected for a competitive women's golf organization. Thanks to Sheila Brocki, the club rep, and the playday and major chairs for getting the results posted so quickly. They play golf each week, and then they and their team work hard immediately afterwards to get the website results for you.
Good luck to Cynthia Hastings and Sue Riegler in their finals match next week at Slammer & Squire. Sign up as NIT and come watch the finals!
I am excited to see over 70 women signed up for NAS JAX for the Burnside. The first General Membership meeting will be held at lunch.
Good luck, play well and have fun!
NEW CALENDAR FEATURE:
You can now add the JWGA schedule to your electronic calendar. Simply click on the Download button below, choose the type of device and follow the prompts. You must download the calendar to each device ...it will not sync with other calendars that you may be using. Note: you will not be able to edit or delete individual JW entries on your calendar. However, any changes made to the JW master calendar will automatically be reflected on each device where you've downloaded the calendar. If you have any questions, please contact Faye Shepherd.
Please note that scores MUST be posted to Ghin or Golfnet no later than two (2) days after the JWGA event. With today's technology, access to the posting systems is as close as your cellphone. If you need help setting this up, please let Linda Hoffman know or consider speaking with your pro shop for guidance. Posting activity will be proactively monitored so please be prompt.
Please be sure to turn in your scorecards AND POST your scores. You and a marker in your foursome must agree and they must be ADDED and SIGNED! You will beDISQUALIFIED if your card is not turned in immediately following the round!
