Our day began with a tribute and moment of silence for our dear Friend, Emily Brown. We were all shocked by the news of her passing earlier in the week. Emily was a Member of JWGA for 58 years. Her support of this organization was unprecedented. She was a Past President, Champion, 5 time runner up for Champion, and contributed to the success of our organization in countless ways. She will live on in our memories and in our hearts, but will be sorely missed. Rest in Peace, Emily.
It was a beautiful day at Eagle Harbor for our second round of our Championship tournament! Thanks to the staff at Eagle Harbor and to Pattie Jenkins and Leslie for their help with check in! And thanks to Jody Clark for all her work in managing this Championship!
Congratulations to this year’s Medalist — Tama Caldabaugh! Because of a three way tie on the first day of play, we went to a two day total to determine the winner. Tama led with a two day total of 150…great playing Tama!
It is a very tight race, with our two leaders in the Championship Division only 3 strokes apart! Tama leads with 150 and Kim Bruce is at 153.
