Hi Ladies,
The rain today didn’t stop 67 players from competing in the 94th JWGA Anniversary Tournament. Tama Caldabaugh will receive the Emily Brown “Play the Ball Down” plaque for her low gross score of 75. Claudeen Lindberg will receive a black marble trophy for her overall low net score of 70. Congratulations to our overall winners and today’s flight winners.
Thank you to Joan Rump and Shari Zeimetz who organized us today and arranged for a fabulous lunch. We greatly appreciate the beautifully decorated 94th Anniversary cake provided by Queen’s Harbour.
Upcoming Events:
o March 23 – St. John’s Golf and Country Club (8:30 shotgun) – Past President/Club Rep/Board
All players participate in a low gross/low net event. In addition, the JWGA Past President with the lowest net score receives a wooden plaque with gavel. In conjunction with this tournament, we incorporate Club Rep and Board Member competitions.
o March 30 – Championship Qualifier – JAX Beach – This is a 4 week tournament starting with the qualifier and followed by 3 rounds of match play as follows:
o April 6 – Championship – Round 1 Match Play – Eagle Harbor
o April 13 – Championship – Round 2 Match Play – Bent Creek
o April 20 – Championship Final – Eagle Landing
If you are not available to compete in all 4 rounds of the Championship, we welcome you to sign up as a NIT.
