It was another picturesque day to play golf. We played the first round of our Senior/Super Generation Tournament at Ponte Verda Inn and CC on the ocean course. A huge thank you to the ladies of Maria Ayala, Margaret O’Meara and Susan Aldworth for handling a smooth registration.
The Mid-Senior low gross is Jody Clark with a 77 and low net is Shari Zeimetz with 69. The Super Senior low gross is Jeri Roche with a 74 and low net is Lenore Allen with 68. Our final division of Legends low gross is Shawn Anderson with a 79 and low net is Sharon Sherrod with a 71. We also had flight winners that are listed on our site.
This is a best 2 of 3 rounds to be contested at Fernandina Beach on September 30 and Cimarrone on October 7th. Good luck to all who have entered.
Our events to follow are the Charity Tournament at Jacksonville Golf and C.C., on October 14, and a general play day @ St John’s GC (county), October 21. These events are currently open for registration.
