We celebrated our 99th Anniversary @WGV Slammer and Squire. The day presented a challenge with the high winds and wet course conditions, but we overcame and had a great day of celebration. A special thank you to the Club Rep Sandy Brokmeyer and her check-in crew Shan Giordano and Tian Jones. The team inside and outside the pro shop and dining room provided us with great service that also contributed to our special day.
Congratulations to our winners:
First Place Gross – Jody Clark
First Place Net – Tian Jones
Our flight winners can be found under results for the full tournament. One additional “congratulations” goes out to Tian Jones, she recorded an eagle on #4, a par 5 using a driver, 6 iron and made a great putt.
Our next event is the Sarah Shelly, played over three weeks beginning @ Eagle Harbor Golf Club, followed by Queens Harbor Yacht and CC and culminating @ Amelia National Golf Club. For all that have signed up good luck; but most of all enjoy the tournament and the camaraderie of playing with your partner. Remember if you don’t have a partner you can still play as a NIT and sign ups are open.
Enjoy the rest of your week….
