Hi Ladies,
It was another beautiful day and a great turnout for the first round of the Senior/Super Senior at the Slammer and Squire. A huge thank-you to our Club Rep, Cindy Peterson for organizing us and to the WGV staff.
Please take a look at weekly results on our JW website for today’s flights winners. We had some notable low scores! Overall low gross honors for the day goes to Tama Caldabaugh with a 71 and overall net honors go to Fran Clinkscales with a 67. Fran also won low putts with 28. Congratulations ladies!
There is a lot of work that goes into the scoring after the round is complete so next time you see Cynthia Hastings or Dot Peck, please be sure to thank them for volunteering their efforts every playday.
Next up we have the second round of our Senior/Super Senior tournament at Deercreek. We will have a shotgun start beginning at 9:00. The Senior/Super Senior takes your best two scores out of the three rounds being played at Slammer and Squire, Deercreek and Jacksonville Beach. Good luck and play well ladies!

Our charity endeavor is under way and you can follow our progress on the JWGA website. Check out the flyers on our website. Your donation can be dropped into our donation which will be available on the registration table at all of our events through Christmas. A HUGE thank you to Emily Brown for her matching funds.
Championship Reminder – in order to be eligible to WIN the Championship, a member must have played in 5 play days and attended one business meeting/luncheon (Opening Day, Christmas, or Anniversary) prior to the start of this tournament. Please note that leaving the premises prior to or during the business meeting does not qualify as attending a meeting.
