What a beautiful day at WGV! A huge thank you to Slammer & Squire management for hosting us and giving us ample holes to ensure a smooth round for all of us, and to Sandy Brokmeyer, our Club Rep, for securing the course and coordinating all the details for today’s event. Also thanks to Tian Jones and Ann Halton for assisting with check in. We are so thankful for their time and effort.

2024-2025 Dues: You may bring a check for $75 payable to JWGA to closing day at Sawgrass. If you pay in cash, please place it in an envelope with your name clearly stated on the envelope, and the amount of cash that is in the envelope.
We are also pleased to be able to offer our members the opportunity to pay via VENMO or Zelle. For Venmo, your payment should be directed to @Helen-short-2 and note the payment is for JWGA dues which will then be directly deposited to the JW account with Wells Fargo. If you are using Zelle, use shortmono4@comcast.net and also make note that the payment is for JWGA dues.

It’s hard to believe but, Monday, May 6, is Closing Day at Sawgrass Country Club. Golf, lunch, awards, a general meeting and the election of officers will take place this day. The format is 3-2-1: 3 net balls on 3’s, 2 net balls on 4’s, 1 net ball on 5’s.
This event has a 72 hour cancellation policy. That means if you need to cancel you must to do so by 9:00 am on Friday May 3 to avoid payment.
Sawgrass is not currently set up to accept credit cards and they have no way to charge alcoholic beverages to individuals. The rest of the club is closed on Monday, so there is no bar open, even for a member charge. Sorry for any inconvenience.
