Today we played our initial newly named Burnside/Brown Tournament at Deercreek Country Club. The day was beautiful and the turn out was great. We recognized and honored our Veterans and Federal Law Enforcement. Without them we would not enjoy the freedoms we have today.
All played a hard fought battle and represented with our national colors of Red, White and Blue. Congratulations this year goes to Jody Clark with a Low Gross of 75, and Kyoung Moon with a Low Net of 71.
A special thanks to the Club Rep Terry Templeton and her assistants Betty Metz and Lisa Paris. We would also like to thank the Pro Shop staff and dining room servers for making the day go smoothly. Thanks to Adrienne Whitman for the commemorative bands and Angie Lobb for the pretzels on Holes 1 and 10.
Next week we start our Sarah Shelly tournament. We would like as many as possible to sign up for this event. If you have never played and plan to participate you are sure to enjoy. If you can’t play all of the events sign up as a NIT (not in tournament) and come out and enjoy the day. Looking forward to a great end of the calendar year.
Have a fantastic week.
