And the second round is in the books. Day 2 was held at Stillwater Golf and Country Club. Check in went smooth with Ann Halton, Michelle DuFresne and Dot Peck working our check in table. Thanks to the ladies for ensuring the check in process going smoothly. The course was in great shape, thanks to the efforts of the maintenance team.
The day had a chilly start, followed by a peek of sun and then of course being Florida a trace of drizzly rain. This did not dampen the day for play. The tournament went on with 12 players being victorious in their matches and moving on to the final round next week at The Golf Club of South Hampton. We also will have 6 consolation matches being contested while the tournament continues. Again great playing by all and good luck to the winners and thanks to the ladies who also played as NIT’s enjoying another great day of golf.
