It was a brisk start to the Mary Burnside tournament but the temperature rose as the day progressed and it turned out to be a beautiful day to honor our Military Members who so selflessly served our Country. Emily Brown kicked off the tournament with an impressive putt (there was never a doubt it was going to drop)! Emily also made a lovely tribute to our Military members and Mary Burnside during lunch. There was a sea of red, white and blue as our ladies battled it out for Low Gross and Low Net. Congratulations to Shauna Snyder , our Low Gross winner with a score of 75 and Brygitte Lusinski, our Low Net winner, with a score of 72.
Thank you to Sandy Brokmeyer our Club Rep, for all her hard work in setting up this lovely event. And thanks to Ann Halton for assisting with check in. Special thanks to Colby and the Staff at King and Bear for a wonderful day!
PLEASE NOTE: We have made a change to our schedule…We will now be playing at Marsh Creek on January 24 instead of Oak Marsh.
Be sure to sign up for the last two playdays of the year, you won’t want to miss the fun!

As we head into the Giving Season, please remember the JWGA Charity Endeavor: Wildflower Healthcare is the leading non-profit provider of free medical and dental services to underserved, uninsured adults in St. Johns County. If you wish to donate, a donation box will be available on the registration table. Please make your check payable to Wildflower Healthcare or you can contribute cash as well. Thank you to Sandy Brokmeyer for handling our charity this season!
Have a great week!
