How it works
Select JWGA events will feature two ProChallenge holes. This season 15 events have been selected. With two holes per event, it gives players the possibility to post scores on as many as 30 holes. Players must play at least 18 ProChallenge holes throughout the season to be eligible to win. Players will post their NET score relative to par on each ProChallenge hole played throughout the season. At the end of the season, the player with the lowest 18 hole total will win the ProChallenge Title.
Rules & Eligibility
All JWGA members are eligible to compete. To win, a player must play at least 18 ProChallenge holes during the season, and if a playoff is necessary, they will play in the Closing Day Playoff. There is no formal entry or registration required of players. They just have to do what they do best – play!
How is Winner Determined
Players will post their NET score relative to par on at least 18 of the ProChallenge holes to compete for the title. Throughout the season, you can track the status of all players on our website. The title will be awarded on Closing Day.
How are holes selected
Holes are selected by the course Pro in consultation with the Club Rep prior to the start of each season. Holes are selected based on their aesthetic beauty, unique challenge, and difficulty. One hole should be rated in the 1-5 handicap range and the other hole should be rated no more than 12.
How will ties be determined
Ties will be broken by the following criteria:
1) Best sum total of common holes played;
2) If tie still exists, a playoff of players still tied will take place on Closing Day. Tied players are required to play on Closing Day to win the title.
