What a beautiful day at Deercreek to celebrate our inaugural Charity Tournament. Thanks to Terry Templeton, our club rep, and Betty Metz for all their efforts orchestrating the day and checking in our golfers. And, as always, thanks to the Staff at Deercreek for hosting us. They are always so welcoming and accommodating!
Wildflower Healthcare, the leading non-profit provider of free medical and dental services to underserved, uninsured adults in St. Johns County was the winner of the day…we collected $1,265 in silent auction donations and net $460 in 50/50 raffle sales for a total increase of $1,725 in our contribution to this worthy organization. Special thanks to Sach Price, Sandy Brokmeyer, Deb Eady and Shauna Snyder for their efforts in organizing and conducting this effort! You guys are awesome!! With the approximate $1500 we had already collected this season, our total donation will be in excess of $3200. (Final totals will be announced when all the calculations are in!) Thank you to EVERYONE who has contributed to this year’s non-profit…JWGA’s generosity is amazing!
I would also like to thank Sach Price, Jody Clark, Helen Short, Kristin Humphrey and Jane Rollinson for donating items for our silent auction! Your contributions enhanced the fun and really added to the success of our day!!
