Hi ladies,
I understand it was a beautiful but breezy day today making some holes challenging. Many thanks to GCAI for hosting us and to our Club Rep, Melinda McGrath, and Sue Riegler for getting us organized and checked in this morning. Also thanks to our Major’s Chair, Debra Eady, Cynthia Hastings, and Dot Peck for handling the scoring. It does take a village and we appreciate all that you do.
The Sarah Shelly field is biting at the heels of Ann Brown and Sue Lansdell who netted a 67 today. The race is on with 2 rounds to go and, as we all know, anything could happen. As I am writing this, you are raising your glasses to Kathy Strychowski for her hole-in-one on #16. Way to go Kathy. Congratulations to Jo Geeslin who won Putts with 24. Visit our website for all of today’s results and take a look at our flyers for the latest news.
If you were in the tournament today, please remember to post your score as a “C” score. If you participated as a NIT, post your score as an away score.
The 2nd round of the Sarah Shelly will be played at Deerwood with a 9:00 shotgun. For quicker access to Deerwood, don’t forget your gate pass. If you are not playing in the Sarah Shelly, there is still time to sign up as a NIT (not in tournament). Gate passes will be mailed to NITs this week.
As a courtesy to our host clubs and JW members, please remember to fill your divots and repair your ball marks.
Check out our website to track our Way Free Medical Clinic progress. Between you and Emily, we are already over $2,000 in contributions to a very worthy cause. Thank you to everyone who has already donated. If you wish to donate, your donation can be placed in the donation box which will be available on the registration table at all of our events through Christmas.
COVID Protocols – Remember, health and safety of our members is of utmost importance. If you have COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, please cancel and follow CDC guidelines.
