Today’s wind, hard fairways and fast undulating greens challenged many of us but one team stood out with the lowest score in the field. Congratulations to Flight 2 winners, Shari Zeimetz, Tian Jones, Cindy Peterson and Teresa Barrett who shot a 63. They were followed closely by 2 teams each with a score of 64. From Flight 1 – Lou Tenarvitz, Therese Quinn, Shauna Snyder and Melissa Gotfredson and from Flight 3 – Marilyn Becker, Lurisa Waldron, Karen Tutwiler and Tama Caldabaugh. Individual scores were impressive today too: Our low gross in the field was Therese Quinn who shot an outstanding even par of 71 and our low net went to Suzanne LaPlante with a score of 66. Well done ladies!! Visit our website to view all results.
A huge thank you to St. John’s Golf Club management for hosting us and to Mary Ellen Bear, our Club Rep, for securing the course and coordinating all the details for today’s event. She and her helper Cindy Peterson did a great job with registration and Lurisa Waldron distributed balls at the range. We are grateful for their time and effort.
